Overview And Experience
Kathryn Potvin, an Olympia native, attended California Lutheran University where she graduated with honors. She obtained her law degree from Arizona State University College of Law after having completed a semester-long externship with Judge Philip J. Pro, chief justice of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. Kathryn then practiced law in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation from 1999 until 2007. Her efforts resulted in two Nevada Supreme Court decisions which changed the law for injured workers in the State of Nevada. She joined the Washington Bar Association in 2003 and is a current member of the Thurston County and Pierce County Bar Associations as well as an active committee member for the Washington State Association for Justice.
